It made number nine in Australia’s Hottest Craft Beers of 2017 poll.
Bridge Road Brewers had four beers in the top 100, with Bling IPA at 48, Robust Porter 92 and Little Bling 99.
Now it in 10th year, the Gabs Hottest 100 Craft Beers judged 2000 beers from 250 breweries.
Beechworth Pale Ale has featured in the Hottest 100 every year; it made the top 20 since 2013 and broke into the top 10 in 2014.
Bridge Road Brewers founder Ben Kraus said when they began in 2005 their beer was sold mainly through the brewery venue or into national capitals.
“However lately we have seen fantastic local support from consumers and venues getting behind something that comes from their own back yard,” he said.
“Outside of Beechworth areas such as Albury-Wodonga and Wangaratta have really embraced our brand and beers, and we are really proud to represent our region in beer both nationally and internationally.”
Bridge Road Brewers has grown from a team of two in 2005 to more than 30 staff today.
Its beer is distributed nationally and exported to Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and the US.
