From Sydney, the high energy Australian music ensemble play original music with a touch of the old and a glimpse of the new.
Formed in 2009, The Parade has performed at major music festivals and venues across Australia, including the Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues.
They blend spicy rhythms with unique song writing that span the genres of folk, pop, gypsy and swing.
From ballads to rollicking dance numbers they capture the spirit and warmth of early music styles, blurring the lines between contemporary and classic sound.
The band released its first album in 2010 and draws on influences such as Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, Father John Misty and Leadbelly.
