Sustainable Activity Centre will host Create a Sustainable Kitchen on the Lincoln Causeway on March 1.
Sustainable Activity Centre staff will show workshop participants how to transform rubbish into useful kitchen cleaning items.
Participants will learn how to make cleaning cloths from tea towels and scourers from netting.
They can also learn how to knit or crochet dish cloths from old T-shirts.
Workshop participants are invited to bring along old tea towels and T-shirts (or use available supplies) to make into reusable cleaning cloths.
Create a Sustainable Kitchen runs at the Sustainable Activity Centre from 2pm to 4pm.
Tickets to the workshop are available from Eventbrite.
