And the fierce battle for finals will only add to the match.
“I left on good terms with a lot of blokes, but there were some other people, it wasn’t real good in the end, we’ll just say that mate,” he said.
The 27-year old has been regarded as one of the association’s most prodigious talents since bursting on the scene as a fast-scoring teenager.
He finished as the leading run-scorer in three successive seasons, from 2008-09, but it’s been a struggle the last two years.
“I don’t think I’ve been making the runs that I could be or should be,” he said.

Farrell was quizzed whether this game meant more than any other during the season.
“Bloody oath it does, considering the season, pretty much both sides have to win anyway,” he said.
“It will be on for young and old I reckon.”
North coach Matt Kirkwood is only too aware of the left-hander’s talent.
“Dave needed to do something different, I’ve got nothing against him whatsoever,” he said.
“He’s always welcome back there (North), he’s a premiership player and he’s still a well-liked person.”
