The four-tonne truck, which was carrying paper, rolled in the southbound lanes about 5am.
The 24-year-old driver told police he had swerved to avoid an animal at Holbrook.
Police are investigating if fatigue was a factor.
It took about three hours to clear the contents of the truck and the vehicle.
Other vehicles were diverted through the township while the road was blocked.
