The home side hammered bottom-placed Wangaratta Magpies.
Chasing Yarrawonga’s 308, the visitors scored just 69 with John Ferguson capturing 3-7.
The Pies performed better in the second innings, with Nick Hallam top-scoring with 30 in the total of 123.
“We missed out on a few points because of the bye, it was a washout when we had the bye and therefore we didn’t get the average winning points, same as everyone else,” captain Matt Knight said.
“We knew we had a few points to make up, so we went in there and tried to get as many points as we could, with an outright as a target.”
The win has lifted Yarrawonga into top spot, almost 10 points ahead of Rovers United Bruck.
Rovers played their role in the battle for the minor premiership, scoring 186 in reply to Ovens Valley United’s 128.
The Valley’s Nick Martignago claimed 7-52 after previously taking seven wickets for the season.
City Colts were the big loser of round 11, dropping from first to third.
Delatite edged out Colts in a two-wicket thriller.
Colts were defending 125, but Joel Sanford’s 28 proved crucial.
Kent Braden was superb with 6-28.
And Benalla Bushrangers’ James Saker blasted 10 boundaries and two sixes in a top-scoring 81 against Greta.
Benalla finished with 8-236, chasing Greta’s 155.
