MOTORBIKES from around the world will go on show this Sunday to help the needy of Wodonga.

The Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Enthusiasts Club will stage its annual Bikes and Blues show at the Wicked Virgin at Rutherglen from 11am to 4pm.

Proceeds from entry fees will benefit Wodonga’s Birallee Park Neighbourhood House which aids those suffering hardship.

Club representative Dave Sinclair said 80 bikes were expected to feature at the show which includes musical entertainment.

He will be displaying his 1969 650cc Triumph Tiger with other machines dating back to the early 1900s.

Prizes will be on offer for various categories, including a people’s choice award and honours for those from countries such as Japan, Spain, England and the US.

It is the third time the show has been held with previous beneficiaries the Rutherglen SES and fire recovery charity BlazeAid. A $1000 is expected to be raised.

Motorcyclists who are want to participate in the show can register on the day from 10am to 11am.
