The VCCL toppled the Victorian Metropolitan Cricket Union by eight wickets at Bendigo’s Queen Elizabeth Oval on Sunday.
The metro outfit posted 183, with Irvine ripping the heart from the middle and lower-order to finish with 5-34.
Tom and Barwon’s Jordan Rossi set the foundation with a 52-run opening partnership.
The stylish Tom was dismissed for 22, before the Northern Rivers’ Jack Neylon combined with Rossi for 73 runs.
Neylon’s dismissal brought Casey to the crease and he batted through the rest of the innings to lead Vic Country to the commanding win.
Casey finished unbeaten on 22.
New City’s Angus Kilby also played in the win.
