OVENS and Murray stars Leah Dodd and Tom Duck have taken out most valuable player awards at the Victorian Club Championships at Bendigo.

The super-fit Dodd, along with Sharks teammate Phebe McLeod, played for Bendigo who finished runner-up to Pool Pirates in the women’s top grade.
Dodd has scored 50 goals for Sharks this season and remains one of the most dangerous players in country Victoria.
McLeod and Pool Pirates’ Annie Lefoe came runner-up to Dodd in the MVP.
Duck was consistent throughout Albury Tigers campaign, with his side finishing ahead of Pool Pirates in the men’s competition.
The championships attracted teams from the Ovens and Murray, Bendigo, Bairnsdale and Geelong with Victoria Country sides to be selected soon for the national championships.
Meanwhile, the Victorian junior club championships will be played at Geelong this weekend.
