The second annual Fair Food Farmers and Followers Gathering will be held at Wooragee Centenary Hall on March 4.
Beechworth Food Coop president Jade Miles said the event was based on the national concept of the Deep Winter Agrarian Gathering.
She said the gathering would promote local, seasonal and fair food systems in the region.
“It’s really an opportunity for small scale, regenerative by nature, food producers to establish pathways to market,” she said.
Ten presenters – including five producers and five connectors – will speak during the morning before afternoon workshops. Speakers include Swanpool cherry grower Mark Foletta and Yackandandah dairy farmers the McIntosh family.
Participants will share a community pot luck lunch.
The event runs 9.30am to 4.30pm. Bookings essential through eventbrite.com.au.
