After a sluggish start to the series, the Graeme Barned-captained line-up charged home before losing to Westernport Phillip Island by nine games in the B special 1 men’s final.
The Crocs scraped into the semi-finals by only one game.
“We lost the first five tiebreakers of the week but then started to get better,” Barned said.
“The boys all played well.
“It’s a pity we couldn’t win the final, but it was still a great week.”
Cameron Scholz, Terry McLean, Mick Reid and Ken Wurtz played for Albury Crocs in the final.
Wangaratta took out men’s B1 while Walwa-Jingellic went down to Hay Wanderers in C2 men.
Yarrawonga Sparks won the C1 women and Yarrawonga Scorchers came runner-up in C5.
Record numbers took part at Swan Hill.
