Eighteen-year-old Jaide Clancy pleaded guilty to the single count of destroy or damage property.
For that she copped a fine in Albury Local Court of $770, was convicted and put on a 12-month bond.
Police told the court how Clancy and the victim had been in a sexual relationship for 14 months.
But that ended amicably in August, 2017, though they still met “for frequent sexual encounters”.
The victim was living in Lavington at the time.
Police said Clancy entered the victim’s unit on December 18 about 7am “to confront him about information she had received from a friend”.
In response he asked her to leave, but she refused.
He then got into his car, which had been parked in a secure garage, which “enraged” Clancy, who broke off the driver’s side mirror.
Clancy then broke off the aerial and a windscreen wiper and tried to rip off the back number plate. A witness then called police, who spoke to Clancy briefly at the scene before leaving.
The victim returned home about 9am, parking his car out front on the road.
Clancy then began screaming for him to come and talk to her, but he walked outside and got in his car.
With that, Clancy moved her car up the driveway and parked it so as to block his vehicle.
She then approached him and asked for a hug.
When police arrived, they found Clancy sobbing in her car.
