In one of their best batting performances of the home and away series, the Pigeons made 4-195 and defended the total with ease.
Clinton Ralston (55), Chris Kreutzberger (41 not out) and Brayden Ralston (34 not out) were the mainstays with 23 wides and no-balls being bonus runs.
In a surprise tactic, Walla batted Tom Simmons and Mark Taylor at numbers 10 and 11 in the run chase.
The Hoppers were in trouble from the outset before Simmons and Taylor came together late and added 62 for the final wicket.
“Tom Simmons and Mark Taylor had us under pressure for four or five overs late but it was a good win,” Rand coach Brad I’Anson said.
“It was good to put that score on the board.”
Brocklesby forfeited to Walbundrie.
