Kyabram trainer Mark Watson was impressed with the five-year-old.
“He had a bit of luck early and made the most of it late,” Watson said.
Driver Ellen Tormey was able to put the five-year-old in the perfect spot as $2.80 favourite Audi Hare and Rykov Leis ($13.30) split up the field with the hot early tempo.
Victorians dominated the feature events on Saturday.
Laura Crossland claimed the Albury Derby as Lochinvar Derby put on a dominant display.
