The Albury couple attended the first Love and Light Wedding Festival, a new expo that showcased Rutherglen venues and suppliers.
Organised by wedding photographer Georgie James and planner Samantha Robinson, the festival began with a bridal runway show at Tuileries Rutherglen on Saturday evening.
Mr Phanith and Miss Knee attended the opening and also visited seven venues the following day.
“For a maiden voyage, it was great, the enthusiasm from the co-ordinators on the first night for the runway walk was fantastic,” Mr Phanith said.
“They got everyone involved, the energy was there and obviously big plans for the future.”
The couple intends to marry at Tuileries in December.
“You go to other wedding expos, you’ve got all the vendors in one centre,” Mr Phanith said.
“Sometimes it helps to see the actual venue that you’re considering all dressed up and catered for. Actually see it in full swing, for us that was reassuring.”
