Moody is one of racing’s most entertaining personalities and follows a long list of big names to speak at the function including Lee Freedman, John Messara, Jim Cassidy, Damien Oliver, Tommy Berry and Michael Rodd.
Albury Racing Club chief executive Michael Wighton is delighted to have Moody on board.
“Peter Moody is one of Australian racing’s most popular personalities and is renowned as a colourful and entertaining guest speaker,” Wighton said.
“Given Black Caviar’s early connection to Albury and Peter’s own experiences at past Albury Cup carnivals he is the perfect fit to be our VIP guest at the carnival launch.”
The carnival opens on Sunday, March 18, and offers more than $640,000 prizemoney.
