With the match seemingly heading for a draw, Thunder threw the ball wide with Uaisele crossing in the corner.
Young English forward Brad Hill was strong on debut, speedster Keanau Wighton showed flashes of class and Jon Huggett and Adrian Purtell were solid performers.
Both sides came away from the clash without any injuries.
