Tourism North East announced a three-year deal of $225,000 from Visit Victoria’s Regional Events Fund.
Tourism North East chief executive Amber Gardner said Visit Victoria had confirmed it would commit $75,000 a year over three years to develop High Country Harvest.
“The High Country Harvest is the very best we have to offer in this space,” she said.
“The state has recognised that with its funding.”
Tourism North East applied for the funding to build on the successful High Country Harvest partnering program developed with the MoVida group in 2017.
The new funding would allow TNE to develop an integrated marketing campaign, which would include a Melbourne-based High Country Harvest event.
