Brad McCabe rowed and paddled his 4.8 metre canoe on the Murray River, leaving Albury in early January and arriving at Goolwa, South Australia, last week.
Originally from Kaniva, Mr McCabe wanted to encourage more openness about depression, motivated by the death by suicide of his brother Tom in 2014.
Mr McCabe thanked everyone who donated or helped him, especially the mate who loaned the canoe used for the big adventure.
“I’ve cleaned it up for you, buddy, and she’s ready for the next one,” he said.
