The High Country Rail Trail Ride is taking bookings for its inaugural trail ride from March 23 to 25.
Riders and their mounts will gather at Shelley Forest Camp for the three-day ride on the High Country Rail Trail.
From base at the historic site of the highest railway station in Victoria, riders will experience the high country on this supported horse trail ride.
The Tallangatta Rail Trail Advisory Group and Parklands Albury Wodonga have supported the planning.
Parklands Albury Wodonga community ranger Ant Packer said the rail trail around Shelley was beautiful.
“The surface is perfect for horses, the bush magnificent and the views of the Snowys are stunning,” she said.
It will suit experienced riders and is limited to 50.
