Thirty-seven teams comprising 216 registered players took part in the event, with a guest team from Finland as well as groups from New Zealand, Darwin, Brisbane, Perth and Tasmania.
The championships began in Melbourne in 1999 with seven teams.
This year’s program included the main team event along with solo, doubles, triples, masters and women’s categories.
Zone Laser Tag Albury owner Kerry Elliott said the games were similar to recreational laser tag, but more tactical.
The four Albury teams tried hard against the best players in the country.
“There’s a little bit of a home town advantage, but they soon learnt our arena very quickly,” she said.
