Modest crowds turned out to the annual event, which was held at the same time as big numbers attended the nearby North East Food and Wine Festival at Junction Square.
But with an Irish St Patrick’s theme, show goers were in good spirits.
The sunny day proved perfect for those wanting to try a hit of croquet, helped by members from four of the Border’s clubs.
Wodonga member Bev Zuber said the game of croquet was all about using your brain and although players do not need to strain themselves physically, they were still getting good exercise by walking about seven kilometers.
“It’s a beautiful game and it’s not taxing,” she said.
“It’s good for the kids too.”
The Wodonga Show also featured animals, a pipe band and Irish dancing.
