After a few warm days starting the month, cooler Autumn mornings appears to be here to stay with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting lows between 11 and 13 degrees throughout much of the week.
Mild highs between 25 and 28 have been forecast for the week with a chance of showers on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
At Mount Hotham, the Bureau of Meteorology has predicted a cool week, with lows as cold as three degrees and highs reaching only 13 degrees.
While Falls Creek will reach a high of 15 degrees and low of three degrees.
Monday’s chilly 6.6 degree morning is only 0.1 degree off the lowest temperature recorded in Albury-Wodonga by the Bureau of Meteorology last March, when the temperature dropped to 6.5 degrees on March 31.
It was the first time in March 2017, the temperature dropped to single figures.
