Emergency services were called to Buraja about 5.40am on Sunday.
The truck had caught alight with two of the vehicle’s four fuel tanks rupturing.
The driver got out of the cabin and disconnected the trailers before they could catch fire.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
Firefighters from Corowa and Albury attended and extinguished the fire before cleaning up the scene.
