The club has been unable to secure a buyer to take over the entire operation at Wodonga Country Club despite interest being shown in different parts of the club including the golf course, motel site and the Parkers Road residential development.

"Having made the decision to for the golf course to stay under SS&A control, we are now in a position to continue negotiations for the sale of any excess land on Parkers Road," club CEO Tim Levesque said.

"This will reduce the debt and improve the profitability of the club."
