The incident occurred during race five, the McGrath Family Handicap, with racing.com naming the injured jockeys as Jack Hill and Mikaela Lawrence.
Hill was listed to ride Zou York in the 1400 metre handicap while Lawrence’s mount was Shy Frank.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics received the call at 3.17pm and both patients were taken to Albury hospital in a stable condition.
One patient, a man believed to be aged in his 20s, suffered a jaw injury, she said.
Initial reports appear to indicate the pair escaped serious injuries.
A witness said both horses “made it back to the yard OK”.
