The Nationals deputy leader will be a guest speaker at the inaugural Business Wodonga president’s dinner on November 16.
Late last month she confirmed her office would be relocating from Bendigo to Wodonga in a move widely interpreted as the forerunner to a shot at the federal parliament lower house seat of Indi.
The event being held at Miss Amelie restaurant is limited to 80 people with non-members not guaranteed a spot.
“Given her numerous ministerial responsibilities, including regional services and decentralisation, she will be an excellent speaker to talk about the future of Wodonga,” Business Wodonga president Graham Jenkin said.
“The whole night will be about Wodonga going forward and how business can tap into some of that development we are seeing around the city.”
Her office will be located in the former Commonwealth Bank building in High Street.
