To our cellar door

Neil Finn and Paul Kelly have been announced as headline acts for A Day on the Green at All Saints Estate.

The renowned singer songwriters are joined in the line-up by Albury talent Lisa Mitchell, who has just released her second album.

Finn and Kelly will take to the stage together as part of tour they’ve long had in the pipeline.

“Paul and I have discussed doing a tour together since I thrashed him on my tennis court in St Kilda in ‘93,” Finn said.

“Good things take time and the only problem we have is deciding which songs to leave out.”

Promoter Michael Newton said the concert was the perfect way to celebrate the event’s 10th birthday.

“We wanted to do something that was special and different and to see these two incredible artists playing together for the first time and in such a unique collaborative way is just perfect,” Mr Newton said.

“Neil and Paul’s national tour is all capital city venues, so it’s a testament to a day on the green to have the only two regional shows.

“We think it will be fitting occasion for our 10th birthday.”

- The event will be held on Saturday March 2 at Wahgunyah’s All Saints Estate.

- Tickets go on sale Friday November 16 from Tickermaster and Rutherglen Winer Experience.
