The Panthers utility, who is busy preparing for a second year at the helm of the Ovens and Murray league club, showed he was just as handy with the cricket ball on Sunday.
Saker, who plays for Violet Town in the Benalla association, finished second in the fastest bowler competition at Benalla’s Gardens Oval, with the radar gun clocking him at 116km/h.
East Albury’s Kevin McDonald won the prize with his fifth delivery, clocking 122km/h.
Lavington football coach James Saker has proved a handy all-rounder.
