About Our Client

Our client is a global retail business with revenues in excess of ten billion dollars. They have brand new CBD offices and a flexible working policy. You will be working closely with senior leaders to oversee all taxation matters for the group.

Job Description

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the main responsibilities of the role will include overseeing;

• Ownership of all tax items for consolidated tax group
• Ensure annual tax return schedules and reconciliations are completed
• Facilitate the gathering of data for transfer pricing reviews and manage the transfer pricing review
• Ownership of any tax reviews/ audits by ATO
• Own relationships with external consultants like tax lawyers and tax ad visors
• Completion of Fringe Benefits Tax Return
• Review the monthly business activity statement
• Tax planning - ownership of all tax planning discussions

The Successful Applicant

You will be an experienced tax professional from either another large corporate or a accounting firm. Strong communication skills and being open minded to fast-paced environment will be critical.
