BIFF has secured the world premiere of Show Me the Magic, a documentary about legendary cinematographer Don McAlpine. He has worked on more than 50 films, including Don's Party, Predator and Moulin Rouge, and this film is a great insight into his filmmaking philosophy. 6:30pm, Palace Barracks 1.
Love Is All You Need is a bittersweet romantic comedy set on the southern Italian coast. While attending his son's wedding, rich-but-emotionally-poor Pierce Brosnan meets his match in the mother of the bride. For late-night slash flick lovers, The Nullabor Nymph is a Ozploitation mockumentary that's both chilling and chuckle-inducing. Two water company employees are dispatched to the middle of the desert, hunted by a naked blonde siren tempting them to their doom. 10pm, Tribal Theatre 2.
