But she’s not alone.
Yellow-skivvied Watkins will be one of three new Wiggles to join original member, blue Wiggle Anthony Field, on stage for two days of Taking Off! shows at the Albury Entertainment Centre in March.
Field selected Watkins and the two other newcomers, red Wiggle Simon Pryce and purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie, to create the new-look Wiggles line-up to perform alongside Wiggly regulars Dorothy the Dinosaur and Henry the Octopus.
Watkins was only two years old when Field, Greg Page, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and short-term member Phillip Wilcher formed the The Wiggles in 1991.
“We introduced Simon, Emma and Lachy on the Celebration tour around the world and audiences loved them,” Field said.
Fans who attend the Albury shows on March 2 and 3 will be among the first to hear new Wiggles material from the group’s new Taking Off! CD and DVD.
Tickets are $30 for adults and children over 18 months. Phone (02) 6043 5610 to book.
