Bikies linked to man's bashing at smash shop

A man has been taken to hospital with serious facial injuries after he was bashed outside a business with links to an outlaw motorcycle gang in Sydney's west.

Up to 10 people were arrested near PSR Smash Repairs on Stoddart Road in Prospect and are being questioned over the attack just after 9pm on Wednesday.

Police who were called to Stoddart Road found the injured man lying in the driveway of the smash repair business with serious injuries.

Paramedics treated him at the scene and he was taken to Westmead Hospital.

In the past, the smash repair business has been linked to the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang and police are investigating whether a bikie dispute led to the bashing.

Police have cordoned off the business and forensic police are examining the area.

They have appealed for anyone with information about the bashing to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
