After months of speculation over the position, including the possible arrival of former Collingwood and Gold Coast ruckman Josh Fraser (pictured), Gorman recently agreed to take over from Nathan Tresize.
The non-playing coach played for a host of clubs in the region before retiring, including Mangoplah-Cookardinia United, Lavington, Nathalia, Barooga and Yarroweyah.
He also has had stints with Coburg and Collingwood’s under-19s.
Tocumwal finished on the bottom of the ladder last season with one victory.
The Bloods were in the mix to secure Fraser before he opted to return to his home club Mansfield in the Goulburn Valley Football League.
