This weekend’s Healthy Soul Healthy Life Expo in Wangaratta will showcase everything from Chinese medicine to chocolate and reflexology to herbs.
“People are looking for alternative ways to do things and live their lives,” medium and expo organiser Val Hood said.
“There are lots of these businesses around but people don’t know they are there.”
“The idea is to bring like-minded and multicultural people together, to help each other improve our lives collectively on a holistic and healing platform.”
Ms Hood said the health expo would be a first of its kind for Wangaratta.
“It will encompass all areas of health and give people a chance to investigate what is available to them on their doorstep,” she said.
There will be 45 stalls and performances throughout the weekend, including belly dancing, Native American Indian dancing and live mediumship demonstrations.
“We are hoping this expo will help people to see how they can live in a healthier, happier and more cost effective way,” Ms Hood said.
The expo will be held tomorrow and Sunday, from 10am to 6pm, at St Patrick’s Hall, Ford Street, Wangaratta.
