A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics were called to the campsite on Brimin Road, off the Murray Valley Highway between Rutherglen and Bundalong, at 9.23am.
There they found a man in his 50s with burns to both arms and his neck.
The patient is currently in a serious but stable condition but the NSW ambulance spokesman said this could deteriorate quickly as the man was believed to have burns to his airways.
A helicopter has been called to the scene and is due to transport the man to a Victorian hospital.
CFA firefighting crews attended the scene but there was no fire.
11.44AM: A motorcyclist will be flown to hospital with serious head injuries after coming off his bike near Bringenbrong.
VIC ambulance spokesman John Mullen said paramedics were called to the incident on the corner of Alpine Way and Tooma Road at 10.41am.
Both NSW and Victorian paramedics have been called to the scene and an air ambulance helicopter has also been requested.
11.29AM: Four people have been injured in a boat explosion near Bendigo.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said four people were forced to jump from their boat into the water at Lake Eppalock after a fuel leak caught fire and exploded at 10.17am.
A man in his 30s and three girls aged 10, 12 and 13 all received superficial burns to their arms and legs in the incident.
All were treated at the scene, though the 13-year-old girl will be transported to a local hospital for further treatment of burns to her face.
