Police arrested a man, 28, at an Inchbold Street home early yesterday.
Detective Sen-Constable Paul Campbell said police had seized goods in an Inchbold Street house and a house in Caraselle Avenue. The goods were stolen from five homes and 10 businesses.
He said cash was stolen from a hairdressing salon, a restaurant and two butcher shops while $26,000 of spray paint was stolen from one business and $8000 in spray equipment and auto parts from another.
Sen-Constable Campbell said iPads, phones and cash were taken from homes during daylight break-ins.
A man was charged with more than 30 offences of burglary and theft last night. He was waiting to appear before a bail justice to determine whether he would be remanded or bailed to appear before the Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court.
