In Section 1 men, Thurgoona Tigers will aim to defend their two-game break at the top of the ladder when they take on St Patrick’s-Diggerville Gold.
Tigers’ Graham Wurtz will look to maintain his strong form from the Australian Championships, while Isaac Dallinger is hoping to perform well after a run to the finals at the Margaret Court Cup.
Forest Hill Galahs take on the second-placed Thurgoona Cats.
In the ladies, ladder leader Glenly plays SPD.
In a tight Section 2 men’s competition, Albury Blue puts its narrow one-game advantage over third-placed Thurgoona Sharks on the line when they go head-to-head.
Paul Grover and Cameron Scholz have been in fine touch for Blue while Terry McLean and Paul Craane will be hoping to bridge the gap.
In other matches, the combined Wodonga-SPD plays Albury Gold, Forest Hill Diggers meet Sacred Heart, Forest Hill Galahs play Wodonga Bulldogs and Forest Hill Hornets take on Wodonga Bushrangers.
Thurgoona Jade’s Leah Cassidy and Jackie Rooke will be looking to continue their pre-Christmas form against clubmates Bronze, with Jodie Pratt and Janine Hill hoping to make up some ground on the top four in Section 2 ladies.
Other contests see Glenly against Lavington, Wodonga Aces take on Sacred Heart and Uiver Park play SPD Green.
- TEAM Wurtz had a two-game buffer at the top going into the break in Section 1 Tuesday Ladies.
They meet Rouvray when play resumes next Tuesday, while Spencer takes on Bulle. Section 2 has the leading MacNeil up against Mills, with Parker and Staughton to play Van De Stadt and Van der Vliet respectively.
