The Brett Cavanough-trained galloper has been off the scene since finishing at the tail of the field in the Ballarat Cup in October won by the Stephen Theodore-trained Flying Hussler.
Cavanough has his sights set on targeting consecutive Albury features with his stable star but is yet to decide where Niblick will kick-off his preparation.
“Niblick had a jump out with Price Of Glory and Boys On Tour and all three were given an easy time being their first jump out this preparation,” Cavanough said.
“They were just out there to get a bit of fitness and clean the pipes out a bit.
“It’s something that I normally like to do and all three are not far off having their first-up run.”
Cavanough said the trio would likely have a trial on their home track ahead of a racetrack return.
