Position: Goalkeeper
Fearless, commanding and an excellent shot stopper, Danny Vukovic is one of the A-League’s standout goalies. After an outstanding season 2013 where Vukovic played every match, kept four clean sheets, made 76 saves and had an exceptional finals series, Danny trialled with EPL side Fulham.

Jack Clisby is a talented young defender who was elevated from the Glory Youth team to a professional contract in January 2013. The former Sorrento junior can play either centre back or left-full back, and in 2012 was awarded the McInerney Gold medal as the State’s best player in the Football West Premier league.

Position: Central Defender
A Socceroo six times, Thwaite enjoyed a five-year stint in Europe playing before joining the Glory in 2012/13. One of the Hyundai A-League’s best defenders, Thwaite is a clean, fair, central defender who reads the game well and excels at playing the ball out of defence.

Position: Right Full Back
Risdon showed maturity beyond his teenage years when elevated into the first team. Cool under pressure, Risdon is one of the club’s younger players but he’s still highly respected. Born and raised in Bunbury, Josh is a product of Perth Glory Youth and regarded as an exciting player with a big future.

Position: Left Back
William Gallas has played at the highest level for both club and country. Gallas has played 291 English Premier League Games, winning the League Cup and FA Community Shield and back to back titles with Chelsea in 2004-06, as well as Captaining Arsenal and Spurs. He also played for the Senior French side 84 times.

Position: Right Wing
A young forward with explosive pace and silky finishing, Chris Harold has excited Perth Glory fans with his eye-catching performances. Just 20 years old, Harold’s rise began in 2009/10 when he won the Golden Boot, scoring 14 goals for Gold Coast Youth.

Position: Midfielder
Brazilian winger Sidnei Sciola Moraes is sure to be a fan favourite. The left footer likes to take players on and his silky skills have already delivered two goals in Glory’s pre-season campaign. Sidnei played at Boavista, Rio Ave (Portugal) Enosis and Alki (Cyprus) before joining the Glory in the 2013/14 off-season.

Position: Attacking Midfield
Steven joined Perth Glory in January 2010 after many years at the top level in the Scottish Premier league with St Mirren, Ross County and Motherwell. He was awarded for a stellar 2012/13 season where he was crowned the club’s “MGP” and re-signed with the club for a further season.

Position: Central Midfielder
Burns had a distinguished career overseas, playing in the English Premier league and the world’s greatest club competition, the Champions League, with Leeds United. After stints in Poland and Romania, Burns joined Perth Glory in 2009/10. In his time with the club, Burns has been a standout, his intensity unquestionable.

Position: Midfielder
Joined Perth Glory last month in a deal that will keep the Serbian midfielder at the club until the end of the 2014/15 Season. The 27-year old attacking midfielder is a former Serbian under 21 international.

Position: Striker
Shane Smeltz is the Hyundai A-League’s all-time leading goal scorer. Smeltz is also Perth Glory’s marquee man and the complete forward - classy on the ball, devastating in front of goal and super cool under pressure. In 2011/12 season Smeltz scored 17 goals including 2 hat-tricks, one of those against the Heart.
