Firefighters took 10 minutes to put out two small grass fires, one that was burning in a log, on nearby land next to a football oval on Emerald Avenue at 3.45pm.
The third fire burnt grass behind Wodonga Middle Years College in Silva Drive about 9pm.
Leading Sen-Constable Chris Grimmett said all three were being treated as suspicious.
He said passers-by told police a teenager was seen leaving the scene of the third fire.
