Marston combined with Wangaratta trainer Russell Green to score an upset victory aboard Our Hussey in the $6000 Benchmark 50 Handicap (1000 metres).
Our Hussey started at $15 and was on the quick back up after finishing at the tail of the field at Bendigo last Saturday.
The six-year-old mare is only a recent addition to the Green stable after previously being prepared by Bruce Hill on the Gold Coast.
After landing her first winner at Berrigan in August, Marston is starting to make her presence felt and has now ridden a winner at the last four meetings she has accepted rides.
The three-kilogram claiming apprentice is based at Griffith with trainer Gino D’Altorio.
The 22-year-old has also attracted the attention of leading trainers Brett Cavanough and Trevor Sutherland and has ridden winners for both stables.
Marston also finished with two second placings at Corowa aboard Private Benjamin and Imposing Vain.
