POLICE are calling on the public for information after a Wodonga woman was sexually assaulted by a man as she slept next to her two-year-old son.

The man visited the woman’s housemate at the Aberdeen Drive, Wodonga home around 1.30am on January 17.
He then allegedly went into the woman’s bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
Police have released an image of a man whom they believe may be able to help their investigation.
He is described as caucasian with an olive complexion, between 20 to 30 years old, around 170 to 175centimetres tall, with a medium build, hazel eyes, black curly shoulder length hair, and was unshaven with moles on his face.
He was wearing a dark grey t-shirt and grey stonewash jeans.
The man claimed to be new to the area from Western Australia and stated he intended to keep travelling towards Melbourne and then South Australia.
