Under Graetz’s direction, the Murray Conservatorium Choir will combine with the Murray Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra and Voices of the Murray children’s choir to celebrate some of the most popular songs from opera and musical theatre.
Dramas, Divas and Deviousness will be staged at the Catholic College Wodonga art centre at 7.30pm tomorrow and on Sunday at 2.30pm in the Albury Public School hall.
Graetz made her singing debut at five, started piano lessons at the age of eight and performed with several leading opera companies including the Houston Grand Opera, the Texas Opera Theatre and the Arizona Opera
She has sung in more than 1200 performances over 12 years and was the featured artist at Beechworth’s Opera in the Alps in January.
Dramas, Divas and Deviousness will include selections from opera, operetta and musical theatre and will feature several Border soloists including Patti Graetz.
Songs from popular musicals including The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, West Side Story and Oliver! will complete the program.

Music lovers can also enjoy a free, three-hour feast of performance this Friday from 5pm at the Murray Conservatorium in Albury when students and staff present performances ranging from popular to jazz in the annual Murray Con Musicathon.
