Man charged over ad fraud
A HOWLONG man will face Albury Local Court today charged with allegedly stealing money from victims from across Australia through online and newspaper classified advertising.

The man, 42, went to Albury police station yesterday where he was charged with nine counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
Police said nine people from NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania responded to the advertisements for iPhones, paid for them but never received them.
The Howlong man was refused bail yesterday.
