Thurgoona’s Men’s Shed will open is doors for inspection tomorrow as part of NSW Seniors Week.
Shed president Ian Crane is keen to show off the facility to prospective and women who might encourage husbands or boyfriends to join.
The shed opened 18 months ago with 15 members and now has 50 regulars aged from mid-20s to mid-80s.
A display related to Charles Sturt University’s allied health courses will also be staged at the shed tomorrow.
The open day runs from 10am to 2.30pm with the shed in St Johns Road, off the northern end of Elizabeth Mitchell Drive.
