ALBURY police are asking for help from the public to solve multiple crimes including an alleged assault, stolen cars, an alcohol burglary and the recovery of stolen jewellery.
LIQUOR THEFT
Officers are asking for help to identify these five men and women after $105 worth of alcohol was stolen from a Dean Street liquor store.
The footage was taken at 8.30pm on March 4.
The two women and three men were seen leaving in a red Ford Lazer hatchback with QLD numberplates.
CAR THEFT
Police are also investigating the theft of two cars.
A white 2002 Landcruiser was stolen from a car park in the Albury CBD last Friday between 6pm and 7.45pm.
Its registration plate was ME-1069
A maroon 1989 Honda Prelude was also stolen from a North Albury home overnight.
Its registration plate was AU-84-CJ.
Police ask anyone who sees these cars to not approach the people with it, but take note of how many there are, what they are wearing and what they look like, as well as which street it is in and any damage before phoning police.
STOLEN JEWELLERY, LAPTOP
Officers would like anyone who has had items stolen from their car or homes recently to view the above gallery of 23 items recovered by police recently.
The items include jewellery and a laptop.
ALLEGED ASSAULT
Albury Police are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault in Dean Street, Albury, last Thursday.
About 11.10am a woman was sitting outside a food outlet in the street when she was approached by two other women that she knew.
An argument occurred and the lone woman was allegedly struck by both women, causing facial injuries.
The matter has been reported to police but further witnesses are requested.
