The Tour de Transplant saw 25 cyclists, including the Australian Tour de France legend, arrive in Albury yesterday on their 1100-kilometre ride around Victoria.
Each kilometre represented one of the 1100 Victorians who have received new hearts and lungs since transplants started in 1989.
The Heart and Lung Transplant Trust Victoria hosted a dinner at the Commercial Club last night to help its aim to raise $150,000.
The cyclists will today ride to Bright and Anglers Rest tomorrow.
