Today will be the first cup day for the 18-year-old, who readily admits she loves the atmosphere of the races.
“I just thought it would be great to represent such a big part of the social calendar of Albury,” she said.
“I’m definitely looking forward to it.”
Olivia said the prospect of rain meant she had changed her outfit, though would not settle on what she would wear until this morning.
“I have a couple of options,” she said.

“I have a dress with sleeves and I’ll definitely be wearing closed-in toe shoes.
“That should be suitable for the day.”
Olivia works full-time at Fifields Pharmacy in Albury and is planning on travelling overseas later this year.
As part of her prize, Olivia took part in a photo shoot and receives two tickets to the cup and a bottle of sparkling wine.
