Thief got no dough on Myrtleford bakery
Thieves have used a sledge hammer and angle grinder in a half-baked attempted robbery of a Myrtleford bakery’s safe but left empty-handed.

The thieves used the sledge hammer to break into Heiner’s Bakery on Standish Street about 12.30am yesterday.
Leading Sen-Constable David Jenkin said staff alerted police about 4.30am when they arrived at work.
“Their bid was unsuccessful and they left empty-handed,” he said.
“Nothing else was stolen or disturbed.”
